Wildcats End February Home Slate with Cowgirls

K-State will close out the second month of the year with its final game of a two-game home stand on Wednesday night, as the Wildcats host Oklahoma State at 7 p.m. Kansas State will look to secure a .500 league record with a win over the Cowgirls and its 10th home win this season. A win would mark the 12th time under head coach Deb Patterson that K-State has won 10 or more games at home and the 24th time in the program's 44-year history.

Wildcats Run Away from Longhorns

With a 15-2 run to open the second half, the Kansas State Wildcats were able to leave the Texas Longhorns in the dust with a lead that was too much to overcome. K-State grabbed the momentum out of the break and never surrendered it to get the win in commanding fashion 65-45.

K-State Hosts Texas in Play 4Kay Game

Kansas State will begin its first and only two-game home stand in Big 12 action on Saturday night, as the Wildcats host Texas at 6 p.m. K-State will look to secure the program's 250th win in Bramlage Coliseum, as the Wildcats own a 249-92 (.730) mark in the arena since it opened in 1988-89.

The first 4,000 fans to the Kansas State women's basketball game this Saturday will receive a free pink K-State t-shirt provided by Mercy Regional Health Center, Briggs Auto and GTM Sportswear during K-State's "Play 4Kay" event. Kansas State women's basketball will take part in the national "Play 4Kay" initiative during the Big 12 matchup against Texas in Bramlage Coliseum at 6 p.m., with the doors to the arena opening at 5 p.m.

Four Wildcats Named to Academic All-Big 12 Team
