Heartland Catbackers - Club Mission

Our Mission

Our purpose is to rally support for KSU Athletics and KSU in general from Cat Fans in Ellis, Graham, Ness, Rooks, Rush, Russell and Trego Counties. Even if you live outside the area and love those Cats, you’re always welcome at our events.

Heartland Catbackers is one of many KSU athletic booster organizations across Kansas and the Nation who share pride in KSU with each other and the communities in which the Catbackers live. Catbacker Clubs are co-sponsored by the KSU Athletic Department and the Kansas State Alumni Association.

Fund Raising Goals

Our fund-raising goal is to make a substantial annual contribution to the Mike Ahearn Scholarship fund to support Wildcat student athletes. There are 31 Catbacker Clubs in Kansas; we’d like to be among the top five. Our primary sources of revenue come from membership dues and money raised at the annual Hog Roast, Golf Outing and Auction. We also organize watch parties, tailgates, and other events where the only purpose is to have fun. We continue to expand our programs and encourage your suggestions for new activities.

Membership

Our annual membership dues are $25 for families (per household). Corporate memberships are $100 and include five family memberships. You can also become a sponsor of this web site for only $25 per year. All sponsors will be able to post a business card and be recognized in a revolving ad on this site. Click here to join, renew your membership or become a web site sponsor.

Our members are dedicated donors (of any amount) and volunteers whose blood runs purple! Other than the annual membership fee, our only requirement is that you want to have fun and maybe even act like a college kid again! We are always looking for feedback and volunteers; feel free to make a comment, suggest additions for this site, or volunteer to help. More volunteers means more fun times for all!
