Heartland Catbackers Mission

Our Mission

Our purpose is to rally support for KSU Athletics and KSU in general from Wildcat Fans in Ellis, Graham, Ness, Rooks, Rush, Russell and Trego Counties. Even if you live outside the area and love the Wildcats, you’re always welcome at our events.

Heartland Catbackers is one of many KSU athletic booster organizations across Kansas and the Nation who share pride in KSU with each other and the communities in which Catbackers live. Catbackers Clubs are co-sponsored by the KSU Athletic Department and the Kansas State Alumni Association.

Fund Raising Goals

Our fund-raising goal is to make a substantial annual contribution to the Mike Ahearn Scholarship fund to support Wildcat student athletes. There are 31 Catbackers Clubs in Kansas; we’d like to be among the top five. Our primary sources of revenue come from sponsorships and money raised at the annual Hog Roast, Golf Outing and Auction. We also organize watch parties, tailgates, and other events where the only purpose is to have fun.
